On 29 January 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release regarding Cambodia’s protest against the legal complaint by Thai senior official.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has lodged a formal protest against the reported hostile action by the Secretary-General of the National Security Council of Thailand directed at the President of the Cambodian Senate and the Prime Minister of Cambodia.
